Every day, we receive dozens of news alerts for "relevant" keywords from blogs and news media "related" to oriental rugs. We estimate about 5% are irrelevant. What a relief! However, approximately 25% have merchandise to push on your screen, 65% is spam, and 5% is "worthy." The problem here is that the majority of information easily accessible is really not up to par with what would be considered "quality material." With the abundance of misinformation, spam and less than appropriate content readily available to the public, it's no wonder the true appreciation for Oriental Rugs is so easily clouded. Where's the filter?
Take a look at this blog we found called Tappetorientale. We don't speak or read Italian here at Rug Rag, but no need to worry: There's a handy translator tool embedded in the side bar for English readers. There are several interactive features which are very nice to see, including live chat!
Our favorite hobby is to educate the public, and we highly regard sites which maintain regular, relevant information in a professional and beneficial manner with interesting insight and perhaps even hashing on controversial topics. Integrity and quality is of utmost importance: It is with our pleasure to give our Rug Rag suggestion to add Tappetorientale to your list of excellent blogs as a must read resource.
