There no question keywords within domain names (URL's) help acheive higher rank in search engine results pages. If you are in the Rug business, it usually doesn't hurt to have the word 'Rugs' in your website's URL.
Which brings us to the domain Rugs.com. We recently found it posted on eBay with a starting bid of $6,000,000!
Too much dough? We have no idea. From our understanding, search engines tend to place higher emphasis on single word URL's. Additionally, it's a short and easy domain to remember too.
According to google adwords, average 'local' monthly search volume rugs was around 11,100,000 in the month of September 2009.
