If washing a small rug quotes at $50, it may have hit a price minimum. Some dealers have a minimum charge for rug washing or augmentation.
1. Shampoo - a submersive wash to thoroughly clean your carpet of dirt,
grit and debris as well as minor treatment to specific stains

Luster Wash - this is given to augment the luster of your rug. A
previously dull and flat carpet can have this wash for a vibrant silk
like shine!
3. Tea Wash/Golden wash - A tea wash will give your carpet a Golden Patina to make it appear older than it really is. A golden wash will provide the same appearance of a tea washed carpet, although transform lighter rose-reds to a golden brown.
