Background Info:
100% authentic hand knotted carpet. Made in Romania, age approximately 20 Years old.

2 ply wool pile on cotton foundation.
knot density: Approximately 130 Knots Per Square Inch
Design:
Design is a
classic antique prayer rug. Heavy "Daghestan" or
“Shirvan” design influence. At the
top of the rug, there are traditional design elements including
flowering plants, serpents and “ram horn” elements. The border features
a simplified “box and arrows” (P.F. Stone) repeating design. Field is
ivory with ivory border. Rug is appears fully intact with no end or
corner loss.

Rug appears fully intact, we believe seller has been very forthcoming with condition and has provided excellent photographs for our staff to verify authenticity of origin, genre, and age.
