Jazzy, bluesy singer Norah Jones recently released her fourth album
"The Fall", setting the forefront of her innovative new musical
direction with a sophisticated yet whimsical album cover. Just like
the elusive Norah presents herself to the public, the cover's
photograph features a world of contrast and curiosity. Seemingly
contradictory elements fill the square image, however, altogether they
mesh to create a sense of colorful harmony.

"And I love the cover. Is there a story behind it? It looks like something you’d see in Vogue.
That’s funny. [Laughs]
It was the photographer’s idea. She wanted to use a bunch of dogs
because she likes working with animals. I thought it sounded fun. We
ended up just loving the Saint Bernard so much that we got some shots
with just him. He was so beautiful. So yeah, it’s meant to be kind of
playful and theatrical." - Interview by Rebecca Harper of Hulu, November 18th 2009
