As many of you know, we're not particularly crazy about hand-tufted rugs here at Rug Rag but there is something particularly interesting about this piece that we enjoy. While in some ways it's reminiscent of a simplified Perisan Dome design, or hyperboloid, it reminds us more of our favorite childhood Spirograph than anything else.
The designers website can be found at GandiaBlasco. The company is located in Valencia, Spain, but has distributors all throughout the world. This particular rug is 100% wool with cotton backing, and has a 20mm pile height. The rugs are made by hand in India, with care for not using child labor.
