According to The Sun*, Elizabeth Hurley was quoted in Tatler magazine as having stated...
"Next time you go to someone's house in the
country, be sure to check out if they have warm, possibly fluffy, rugs in
front of their fire... No prizes for guessing why they're there! I can also shyly confess to
having two sheepskin rugs in front of all my fireplaces!"- Hurley
We agree on the rugs in front of the fireplace. But sheepskin? Nothing better than having a big hunk-'o-skin on your floor... Right?
Big no-no in our book. It's counter productive! Like killing the goose that laid the golden egg. If still attached to a live animal, wool grows back y'know: and it makes for some great Oriental Rugs.
So how about a Flokati rug for something comfy and less invasive. Should go into our Hall of Shame, but we have yet to see photos of her multi-million dollar house. Maybe she and husband Arun Nayar have a few impressive antique Persian Rugs?
Hopefully they don't have too many fireplaces.
