Carpet samples are awesome on many levels. No matter how mundane they may seem, the names hardly ever are. When I was working retail several years ago, we probably had several hundred pounds of carpet samples which had accumulated over the years. People would request them for multiple reasons: Something for the front door, a teacher to have mats for her elementary school students, and even college students wanting to patch them together for a full carpet. While we thought Ample Sample was a pretty inventive solution for the abundance of carpet samples out there, this segment of Fallon's Late Night show had us on the floor.
"Watch out, watch out. Step back - you don't want to get rug burn!"
