Barris Built Bugazzi

A few months back we wrote about the Rolls Royce Bespoke Collection which featured a few hand knotted carpets custom made for a handful of lucky owners. 

Going back to the early 70's, George Barris made a handful of these Custom Bugazzi's flanked with some of the most decadent amenities seen in a vehicle to date.  Although we are not entirely convinced the rug in this car is hand knotted, it is of a European flavor, and perhaps most appropriately falls into the categoy of an Aubusson-type design.  Despite being hand knotted or other, it is a design which may be found in an oriental rug, and most certainly makes it into our book as....  Interesting: Either way, perhaps a step up from the Sinatra Miura?
