In what seems to be an all too popular theme lately, $750,000 worth of art, antiques and Persian Rugs were stolen from a Santa Fe home. Perhaps the most expensive thing take is a charcoal preliminary drawing of The Night Cafe by Vincent Van Gogh, valued at over $200,000. The homeowner,a 54-year old artist, is an avid art collector and had approximately 77 items stolen. The investigators are hoping that anyone with any information would please call Santa Fe police Detective Randy Pecorelli at (505) 955-5165 or FBI Special Agent David Kice at (505) 889-1300.
