Fantastic Palace Size Ghul Ferang Bidjar Persian Carpet

Size: 12'8" x 23'8" Age: ~70 year old semi antique. Est. 1940 Condition: This carpet is in Mint Condition. Owner states carpet has been in storage unused since imported. Pile is full and no different than original height showing no signs of wear whatsoever. This rug has no repairs, no moth damage, no end loss, no matting, no stains, no knot heads, no low areas, no dry area, no splits or other. Never before used! This is an outstandingly well-taken-care-of carpet very unusual in condition, size and genre. Well suited for any museum or private collection. Special Attributes: Ultra-dense and high quality wool pile. Spectacular condition. Technical: 2 ply hand spun wool on wool foundation. Knots per square inch are a consistent 130 (measured with quarter as seen on bottom photograph.) This large carpet was made in one piece on a single, massive loom.

Palace Size Semi-Antique Shiraz

At an age of approximately 70 years old, this is a very unusual Shiraz Rug measuring an 13'x27'9". This rug is in very good condition, with very little wear. It is very uncommon to find a carpet of this size, let alone a carpet of this size with wool pile and wool foundation. This rug would make a great library Carpet!
